RECONSTRUCT

During my internship at Reconstruct Collective, I stepped into a fast-paced studio where ideas quickly moved from research to reality. I supported concept development through visual research, trend analysis and mood boards, and assisted with material experimentation with a strong focus on upcycling. As designs developed, I worked hands-on with pattern adjustments, prototypes and fittings, helping refine pieces from early samples to final garments.

I contributed to the production of the AW18/19 collection, presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week, and supported the development of the SS19 collection Retrograde Orbit, shown during Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. Alongside this, I took part in preparations for shows and pop-ups, collaborating with external partners and creatives such as The New Originals. Overall, this experience strengthened my ability to collaborate within a young team at an emerging fashion brand, while developing my technical skills in apparel design—especially in pattern development and draping.
